Purpose-built tools reduce the problem. They do not remove it.

Each option trades something for something else. A CLE seminar earns you credit hours you cannot get any other way on this list, and a live instructor can answer a question in real time - but you get one date, once, and the syllabus is whatever that provider chose to build. What to skip

  • Building or fine-tuning models. That is a machine-learning engineering skill, not a legal-practice skill, and it will not change how you review an AI-drafted memo next week.
  • Learning Python. Nothing in supervising an AI tool's legal output requires writing code, and the two weeks do not have room for a second discipline.
  • Vendor demo reels and product launch keynotes. They are built to sell you a subscription, not to teach you how the tool fails, which is the part you actually need.
