Welcome to LearnPath. By accessing or using our platform at learnwithpath.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

LearnPath is an AI-powered learning platform that curates free YouTube videos into structured learning paths. We use artificial intelligence to generate exercises (quizzes, fill-in-the-blank, flashcards, concept matching, sequencing, and true/false), summaries, and personalized recommendations based on video content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or at least 16 years old if you are in the European Union). If you are under 18 years of age, you must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content.

5. AI-Generated Content

Quizzes, summaries, skill assessments, and learning recommendations on LearnPath are generated by artificial intelligence. To create this content, video transcripts and your topic and level inputs are sent to third-party AI service providers. No account-identifying information (such as your name or email) is included in these requests. AI-generated content:

• May contain inaccuracies or errors.
• Is not a substitute for professional education, advice, or certification.
• Should not be relied upon as the sole source of knowledge on any subject.
• Is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness.

6. YouTube API Services

LearnPath uses YouTube API Services to search for videos and to display an embedded YouTube player. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Content

Video content displayed on LearnPath is hosted on YouTube and owned by their respective creators. LearnPath does not own, control, or guarantee the accuracy, quality, or availability of any third-party video content.

8. Intellectual Property

• LearnPath's platform, design, features, and original content are owned by LearnPath and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Notes you create within the Service remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your notes to you.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from LearnPath's platform without prior written consent.

9. Content License for Learning Paths

When you create a learning path on LearnPath, you retain ownership of your selections, notes, and personal data. Learning paths are public by default. A public path exposes its topic, node titles, progress percentage, and your display name on the path page and in the discovery directory (individual public path pages are visible to anyone, including search engines). By creating a public path, you grant:

• LearnPath a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, index, cache, and serve the path's public metadata to other users for the purpose of operating the discovery directory.
• Other registered users a non-exclusive license to clone the public path structure into their own accounts for personal learning use. Cloning requires a Pro account. Clones are independent copies - you do not retain control over clones after they are created.

What is NOT licensed: your private notes, your exercise answers, your email, and any data you did not explicitly publish.

Making a path private: You can enable Private mode for a path at any time in Settings, which opts that path out of the discovery directory and cloning.

Account deletion: If you delete your account, your original paths are deleted, but clones already made by other users remain in their accounts.

10. Plans, Payments, and Subscriptions

LearnPath offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan.

• Free plan: one AI-generated learning path (lifetime) and one active path at a time. The first step of a path is fully usable. After you pass the first quiz, unlocking further steps requires a Pro subscription. Community path cloning is not included, and the Best Video Finder allows one free search per day.
• Pro plan: $12.99 per month, or $107.88 per year billed annually (an equivalent of $8.99 per month). Pro includes unlimited learning paths (subject to fair use), full access to every step of your paths, and community path discovery and cloning.
• Promotional pricing may be offered from time to time. The binding price is always the one disclosed to you at checkout.
• By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges at the rate disclosed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time from your Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan, and all of your data and progress are preserved.
• Payments are processed by Airwallex, a PCI DSS compliant payment provider. Your card details never touch LearnPath servers.
• Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

Legacy Plus subscribers: the former Plus plan is no longer offered. Existing Plus subscribers are grandfathered and keep Pro-level access at their original price until they cancel.

11. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
• Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnPath and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Unavailability of third-party video content.
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account.
• Any decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
